The Price of Change

Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008

As we rapidly approach the upcoming election it would do us well to reflect on what the democratic/socialist party is saying.

The change mantra sounds strangely familiar… could it be?  Yes, I believe it is the same chant that ushered in Bill Clinton.  What was the first change he made after being sworn into office?   In an attempt to undermine our military he and his co-conspiritors concocted the “don’t ask don’t tell” policy.  I remember how disrespectfully Mr. Clinton treated his challengers during the presidential debates.  Civility was cast to the wind by people who deliberately set themselves to destroy the moral underpinnings of our civilization.

Ask yourself, why would the so called ‘free choice’ crowd deny children the right to pray in school?  Or allow teachers the option to teach the moral standards that guided us as a people for decades?  It’s not enough for these radical people to practice their debauchery they insist on having the right to teach your children every perversion imaginable.

As if these things weren’t bad enough they allowed the legalization of infanticide.  Of course the convenient wording used to cloud this issue is called partial-birth abortion.  These are examples of change that have and will continue to be detrimental to our nation’s survival unless we change direction.  We have all heard the polls that tell us Americans believe our nation is headed in the wrong direction.  It’s time to ask ourselves a sobering question, are we headed in the wrong direction because we have turned our backs on God?
